Basketball Clock to fake "Digital"

#1
Hi Guys, and sorry for the topic's subject which does not make much sense. I provide graphics in basketball matches and I need to find a way to implement the clock in my gfx. As most of us I subscribed for the OCR demo posted some months ago in the forum but still nothing. First of all I would be grateful if someone had anything to suggest, I am not interested only in free solutions. Anyway I tried to do something by myself with not so great results. I used a Marshal Camera with Casparcg, I croped and transformed the part I need to use,but still looks kind of "strange" on my graphics. I was wondering if there is a way to "key out" the black part and keep only the digits,so it will look much more "digital". I tried to use blend mode but nothing happened.

Any suggestions???

Do you know the SportZcast box? http://sportzcast.us/ It can connect to a number of scoreboards mostly of US brands. Streamstar SCOREPLUS for basketball supports it. https://www.streamstar.com/streamstar-scoreplus/ It is based on CasparCG and does also support SDI out, beside the advertised NDI. I am the developer of it.

Hi Didikunz
No I was not aware of this solution, my main problem is that most of the scoreboards come from a Greek company so I am not really sure if it will actually work. Anyway I will check if there is a compatibility between them.

Thanks a lot

I cant really help on OCR or integrating with a scoreboard, but I do know that in order for blend modes to work you have to enable it in your server config.
I tried to enable it,I am not sure whether I did it correct or not, actually I did it the way Vimlesh did it according to a post,so yes I think it is correct. On the othet hand nothing seems to be working when I change the modes.

It depends on your vision mixer. You can use the camera Image as a mask for keying and e.g. replace "chrono clocks" background with scorebug color. I think you also may do the lumakey with CasparCG, but there will be some latency.

That is what I am missing, how to do the luma key in Casparcg.
